A comfortable to wear post-modernist ring of an interesting design, set with a large emerald cabochon of a fine, luminous, medium green, plus a brilliant cut diamond (approx. 0.2 carat) and a small facetted emerald set on two protruding ‘tentacles’. The concave shaped gold base underneath the emerald cabochon causes a green-golden spot of light which seems to be wandering through the stone with every move of the wearer, making the congenial design even more interesting.
Works of metal sculptor and master gold- and silversmith Albert Sous (1935 - ) grace public places of German cities and his jewellery pieces are part of public collections such as Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim and Goldschmiedehaus Hanau.
