Henkel & Grosse (also written: Grossé), Pforzheim, Germany, well-known for their costume jewellery executed for Christian Dior during the 1950s-1990s, launched a line of modernist silver jewellery during the 1960s.
The necklace reflects the fashionable style of French modernist costume jewellery accompanying the couture creations of French designers during the 1970s.
