A flexible constructed three strand bracelet of white and yellow gold, set with nine moonstone cabochons, each measuring 5.0 mm in diameter (approx. 3/16”). The fine blueish adularescence of the stones corresponds with the satinised finish of the yellow gold mountings, which connect the stones underneath in threes, forming an anchoring element for the white gold chains ending in capsules of yellow gold interlinking with the cabochon settings. The flexibility and smoothness of the construction causes the bracelet to change width gradually, depending on the movement of the wearer, making it a constant ‘point of interest’.

Master-goldsmith Thomas Schleede (1946 - ), represents the second generation of renowned ‘Goldschmiede Schleede’ in Hamburg, Germany. After passing his exam for a master goldsmith in 1971 he first worked with Thomas and Ilse Dawo, Düsseldorf, later became a pupil of Klaus Ullrich when studying at the Pforzheim University of Design from 1974 to 1976. In 1978 he overtook the Hamburg workshop from his father Gustav Max Schleede and his elder brother Jens Schleede.

Developing the design from the material by showing the possibilities of technical skills and proportioning, creativity and craftsmanship in every detail is a fundamental belief passed to the many apprentices.
