Theo Sebald (1931 – 2000) opened his workshop in Würzburg, Southern Germany, in 1962 together with his colleague Rudolf Engert. The workshop specialized in liturgical equipment and jewellery.

Kindly note: - one of the fasteners has been replaced at a later time by a 14k gold fastener, the other is 18k, like the earrings; - one of the smallest ruby cabochons shows an almost invisible hairline originating from a natural fissure (inclusion) in the stone itself, not a damage, but we wanted to mention it; - the earlobes of our 'model' are in width and length about 1/2" smaller than a human ear.
